A distinctive antique Victorian lavaliere necklace from the late 19^th Century decorated with cabochon tigers eye stones leading to a large citrine and a beautiful tiger’s eye heart at the bottom with exceptional golden colouring and layered stripes.

The Tiger’s Eye is named after the mystical king of beasts and has been used as a protective ‘All-seeing’ talisman throughout history. The Egyptians believed the stone was divine and captured the radiant power of the sun and earth within its shimmering surface.

The chain links are all 9ct gold and lead to a large ring clasp at the end. It’s a unique statement piece and has remained in excellent condition.
