A glamorous Art Deco amethyst diamond necklace, featuring a fabulous negligee pendant consisting of two long, asymmetric droppers decorated with twinkling rose cut diamonds and three large purple amethysts, two oval cut (approx. 5 and 7ct) and one rectangle cut (approx. 6ct).
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and the stone of Saint Valentine. Its deep purple-violet hue has been a favourite of royalty throughout history and contrasts beautifully with the bright, scintillating sparkle of diamonds, which together symbolise romance, love and loyalty.
The pendant is fashioned in 18ct gold, with platinum diamond settings and hangs from a fine gold chain and ring clasp. It’s a majestic Art Deco necklace, dating to the early 20th Century, with three luxurious amethysts on display.
