Details
This grand antique Albert chain is composed of solid sterling silver curb links, richly gilded in 18ct yellow gold vermeil. The piece was assayed in Birmingham in 1919, with each link bearing the prestigious lion passant hallmark, alongside the initials of esteemed maker Henry Pope, found on the original T-bar drop and double dog clips.
The piece was likely a cherished piece belonging to a well-dressed gentleman of the early 1900s and would make an exquisite watch chain once more, but at 14.8 inches, it can also be repurposed as a stylish choker necklace that sits elegantly along the collarbone, perfect for layering or wearing alone as a bold, characterful piece.
