A stunning antique Edwardian Art Nouveau floral pendant/ brooch, decorated with bright, creamy seed pearls and four ocean-blue aquamarines. The meticulously crafted open-work gallery consists of scrolling, leaf and flowers motifs and is fashioned in a sunny 18ct yellow gold, with delicate milgrain detailing.
Aquamarine and Pearls are both considered treasures of the ocean and together symbolise purity, wisdom, and tranquillity. Their soft white and blue colouring complement each other beautifully, evoking the calm and serenity of the sky and ocean.
This fabulous Art Nouveau aquamarine pearl pendant is a fine example of Edwardian elegance and craftsmanship and is fitted with a foldaway loop and a pin at the back, so it can be worn as a pendant or brooch depending on the occasion. It dates to the early 1900s and has remained in pristine condition.
