A stunning antique French Belle Epoque brooch, decorated with a dazzling collection of pearls, rose cut diamonds and larger old European cut diamonds that have SI 1/2 clarity – H/I colour and glitter and dance endlessly in the light. The largest diamond swings from a dropper at the bottom and weighs approx. 0.50ct. A 0.40ct diamond also sits in the centre, bringing the total to approx. 2 carats across the piece.
Diamonds are truly a stone of perfection, desired for their rarity, durability and exceptional sparkle that is second to none. Their superior qualities have made them the ultimate symbol of love across the ages with their strength and ceaseless fire representing eternal love and devotion.
The piece has an ornate, open-work design with foliate motifs and scrolling flourishes edged with milgrain. It’s fashioned in platinum with an 18ct gold pin and locking catch at the back, complete with French 18ct gold hallmarks.
