Crafted in warm 15ct yellow gold, this romantic and symbolic antique Edwardian heart brooch showcases a delicate openwork design adorned with a lustrous garland of natural seed pearls along the lower curve of the heart, traditionally symbolising purity, sincerity, and devotion. At its centre sits an additional pearl, while two entwined shamrock motifs coiled above are adorned with vibrant multi-coloured gemstone petals, including warm orange citrine, soft lavender amethyst, and lush green tourmaline, further representing love and good fortune.
Beautifully preserved for over a century, this rare and highly collectable antique brooch remains in remarkable condition. A fine example of Edwardian jewellery, it would make an elegant statement pinned to a lapel, scarf, handbag, or treasured as part of a fine antique jewellery collection.
