Product Details
A beautiful antique Edwardian ruby diamond bangle, made in Birmingham in 1903. The bangle is set with an alternating pattern of pink cushion cut rubies and twinkling old mine cut diamonds which are laid out in star settings across the front (approx. 0.42ct of each). It’s fashioned in 18ct yellow gold, with rope edging along the sides and has developed a lovely patina over time.
Ruby is the birthstone of July and has long been associated with the heart due to its fiery pink/ red colouring which is symbolic of passion. It’s said to bring good fortune in love and provide long-lasting happiness and vitality to any relationship.
This is a wonderful Edwardian bangle, all in excellent condition and held securely by a box clasp and safety chain at the side, with hallmarks and the maker’s mark stamped within the band.
We recommend you insure for £3,250. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
