Product Details
A spectacular antique Edwardian carved half hoop ring from the early 1900s adorned with two blue sapphires and a trilogy of old European cut diamonds which are all natural and detailed in the accompanying gem certification.
The centre diamond weighs approx. 1.34ct on its own with 0.30ct stones on either side (1.94ct total). They’re exceptionally bright with superb VS/ SI clarity – G/I colour and are complemented beautifully by the deep, vivid blue sapphires that weigh approx. 0.93ct each (1.87ct total).
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The gems are set in a pronounced platinum gallery with ornate claw settings that fan the stones out beautifully across the finger. It’s an outstanding statement ring, extremely rare and in excellent condition with a dazzling collection of natural gems on top.
