A fabulous pair of antique Edwardian drop earrings from the early 20th Century decorated with white pearls, violet amethysts and green peridots which together make up the colours associated with the women’s Suffragette movement and symbolise; Violet for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
The pair is fashioned in 18ct gold and fitted with long hook wires at the top. They’ve remained in excellent condition and look wonderful dangling from each ear.
