This fabulous Antique Edwardian Suffragette pendant was made Circa 1910. The unusual pendant is decorated in Pearls, with a beautiful 0.85ct Emerald cut Tourmaline in the centre and a lovely Amethyst dropper.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery was chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking. Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes.
The pendant is a unique design, all set in 15ct Yellow Gold. It would look lovely hanging from a Gold chain and is a wonderful tribute to the women Suffragette movement.
Weighs 3 grams.
Pendant measures 18mm across x 40mm down, including bale.
The Tourmaline measures 6mm across x 8mm down.
