Product Details
An exquisite antique Georgian brooch consisting of three flowers and three droppers, modelled in 18ct gold with luxurious flat cut garnets set across the front. They have a desirable deep red wine hue and weigh between 0.10 – 2.5ct each.
Garnet is the birthstone of January and has been desired throughout history for its strength and blazing crimson-red or cherry-pink flame that glows beneath its dark exterior. It’s considered a stone of the heart and is symbolic of passion and enduring love.
The piece dates to the early 19th Century and has been beautifully preserved. It’s all original but has been fitted with a new locking catch over time to hold it secure.
We recommend you insure for £2,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
