This fabulous antique 18ct Yellow Gold Scottish Agate necklace is genuine Georgian Circa 1800.
Scottish jewellery was made popular in the late 1900s by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her trips to Scotland. Due to its age, Georgian Scottish pieces are particularly rare today and are highly collectable.
The necklace is set with fifteen fabulous hand carved polished Agate sections interlinked with stunning 18ct Gold workmanship.
Agate is a strong mineral sometimes known as the earth rainbow for it’s patterned texture that shows varying colours the earth can produce.
Each Agate is unique with beautiful natural colouring and polished to perfection.
The Gold has been tested with jewellery acid testers in house.
Purchased in London and steeped in Georgian history.
Looks fabulous when worn, extremely collectable and sought after world wide.
