A grand antique Georgian bracelet from the early 19th Century consisting of a thick band of braided hair which is tightly woven and a lovely shade of golden brown.
The band is fitted to a large, ornate box clasp with a beautiful, engraved design across the front and shoulders. It’s fashioned in pinchbeck and gilded in 18ct yellow gold with silver motifs inlaid on top.
This is a highly unique piece, very well preserved and a fine example of the majesty and craftsmanship of the Georgian era.
