Product Details
An exquisite antique Georgian Imperial topaz cluster ring, adorned with a desirable golden-orange topaz in the centre, weighing approx. 4 carats. It’s been foil-backed to increase its sparkle and radiance and is haloed by glittering old cushion cut paste stones around the border.
Topaz is the birthstone of November, and the orange variety is the rarest of its kind. It’s rarity and warm, golden hue has earned it the name “Precious Topaz” or, “Imperial Topaz” as it was highly desired by the Russian Czar who displayed it as a symbol of their power and status.
The outer gallery is fashioned in silver with an 18ct gold closed back, band and collet setting for the principal stone with a coiled edge. It’s a rare antique Georgian ring, dating to the late 18th Century, exhibiting a gorgeous Imperial topaz at its heart.
We recommend you insure for £4,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
