An exquisite antique Georgian locket and chain beautifully preserved from the early 1800s. The locket features elaborate and highly detailed chased artistry across the front, back and sides, depicting beautiful scrolling patterns and floral motifs.
It’s modelled in solid silver and has been gilded in a bright 18ct yellow gold. It’s lovely and smooth and opens at the back, revealing an inner window and rim where a photograph or lock of hair can be inserted.
A chunky silver cable chain also accompanies the piece and has been given the same 18ct gold finish and secured with a new sterling silver claw clasp over time.
It’s an all round outstanding antique treasure and the perfect place to store a beloved photograph of a loved one so it remains forever close to your heart.
