Product Details
An impressive antique Georgian cluster ring exhibiting three round natural Mother of pearl down the centre that are bright and lustrous with a creamy-white tone. They’re bordered by twenty smaller pearls and twinkling diamonds nestled in-between.
Mother of Pearl, also known as Nacre, is found on the inner shell of molluscs and is desired for its size and enchanting, iridescent shimmer. They have been worn for centuries as a symbol of beauty, femininity, and grace and are believed to bring peace to one’s mind.
The large, oval gallery is fashioned in silver with a rosy 18ct gold back and band with split shoulders. It’s an extraordinary statement piece dating to the early 19th Century and in excellent condition.
We recommend you insure for £2,200. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
