Product Details
A gleaming antique Georgian pearl half-hoop ring, adorned with five natural half-pearls, exhibiting bright cream and silver tones. They’re set in a closed-back 18ct gold gallery with milgrain edging and a sleek band at the back, featuring faded engraving down the shoulders.
Pearls are the birthstone of June and a true treasure of the ocean, produced organically by fresh and saltwater molluscs. Their spherical shape and exceptional lustre have long been associated with the beauty of the moon and are symbolic of purity, serenity, and loyalty.
This rare Georgian pearl ring is in excellent condition and dates to the early 1800s. It displays a gorgeous collection of lustrous natural pearls at the front that wrap gently around the top of the finger, symbolising eternal love and loyalty.
We recommend you insure for £2,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
