Product Details
A gorgeous antique Georgian daisy cluster ring adorned with six natural cabochon opal petals with a rose-cut diamond in the centre, haloed by six smaller diamonds around the border. The opals weigh approx. 0.10ct each (0.60ct total) and exhibit a wonderful medley of colours.
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the natural beauty of planet Earth or the aurora borealis.
The piece is modelled in 18ct gold and features a closed-back and scrolled shoulders with fine engraving. It dates to the early-19th Century and has remained in superb condition.
