This beautiful antique 18ct Gold on Silver Spoon ring is Georgian, Circa 1800.
Due to its age, Georgian jewellery is quite rare, with some pieces almost three hundred years old. From 1714 until 1837 four King Georges and a short-lived William gave rise to this extended period, spanning many fashions that are reflected in these stunning pieces of Georgian jewellery.
The ring was originally a Georgian spoon which has since been transformed and coiled into this fabulous piece which is decorated in lovely engraved detail.
The ring is all set in 18ct Yellow Gold on Silver and complete with hallmarks on the inside of the shank.
A wonderful antique piece that’s steeped in Georgian history and would suit either sex!
