A gorgeous Antique Edwardian Suffragette Pendant Necklace featuring Pearls on the main pendant along with Peridot and 0.25ct Amethyst droppers.
The pendant and chain, which are produced out of 9ct Yellow Gold, have turned a lovely Rosy hue with age.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, so their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which were chosen to counter the masculine women’s rights stereotypes put forward by opponents. Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes!
