A wonderful antique Victorian sentiment ring showcasing a line of gemstones in the front gallery which spell out the word ‘Adore’ with each first letter of the stone – Amethyst, Diamond, Opal, Ruby, Emerald.
Sentiment rings or ADORE rings were popular in the Victorian era and used to express a secret romantic message to their loved one spelt out in gemstones, reminding them that they ‘Adored them’ and always will.
The gallery is all 18ct Yellow Gold and features beautiful engraved detailing across the top and shoulders. It would make a wonderful gift for a loved one and is steeped in romantic sentiment.
