Details
This grand antique Victorian Albert chain is composed of chunky sterling silver curb links, richly gilded in sunny 18ct yellow gold. The piece was assayed in Birmingham in 1896, with each link bearing the prestigious lion passant hallmark, with new matching dog-clips fitted to each end.
The chain was likely a cherished piece belonging to a well-dressed Victorian gentleman of the late 1800s, but at 15.5 inches, it has been repurposed into a stylish choker necklace that sits elegantly along the collarbone, perfect for layering or wearing alone as a bold statement piece.
