Product Details
A grand antique Victorian bracelet made up of 9ct gold gate links with three large oval cut amethysts displayed across the front in rope borders. They have a deep, regal purple hue and weigh approx. 6ct at the sides and 7ct in the centre (approx. 19ct total).
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity. Its deep violet colouring has been highly esteemed throughout history, adorning regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
It’s a quality antique piece, in excellent condition and the purple and gold complement each other beautifully. It’s held securely around the wrist by a box clasp and safety chain, complete with 9ct stamp and the maker’s mark at the back.
We recommend you insure for £2,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
