A pretty pair of antique Victorian flower earrings set with five deep purple amethyst petals (approx. 0.80ct each – 8ct total) with a small gold flower blooming out from the centre.
Amethyst is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity and has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty and deep violet colouring which has adorned regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
They’re a striking pair, both fashioned in 15ct gold with rope edging and butterfly studs at the back.
