A beautiful antique Victorian locket modelled in 9ct gold with intricate chased workmanship depicting two belt and buckles, forget me nots and other foliate motifs and patterns.
Belt and Buckle motifs were popular in the Victorian era as their infinite loop and secure buckle symbolised eternal love and a strong unbreakable bond. Forget me nots also share a similar sentiment and were often a token of love and remembrance.
It’s remained in excellent condition and has room to store two cherished photographs within.
