A robust antique late Victorian chain made up of chunky sterling silver cable links interspersed with 18ct yellow gold links along the length, creating a fabulous two-tone effect that’s very striking.
It’s a strong, weighty chain with a lovely smoothness and is held by a large bolt ring clasp at the end, complete with hallmarks that indicate it was imported and assayed later in London in 1995.
