This fabulous antique Victorian bracelet is adorned with Diamond set charms, set in 18ct Yellow Gold.
Six fabulous Diamond set charms compliment this bracelet, a Diamond Witches Heart, Dearest Flower, Diamond Pig, Emerald Clover, Diamond Cross, Diamond Rabbit.
The term witches heart means a heart with a curved point at the end.
Over time the meaning has changed. In the 18th century they were viewed as tokens of love and affection and brought with it the implication that the giver had become bewitched to fall in love with the recipient. In earlier times, they were often used as protective amulets, to guard the wearer from evil.
The dearest flower spells dearest in gemstones - Diamond, Emerald, Amethyst, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire and Topaz.
