Details
This grand antique Victorian collar necklace features a sculptural design inspired by the classical Etruscan Revival movement and consists of substantial interlocking rings and ornate, architectural sphere sections adorned with gold beading. Originally hand-wrought in silver, the piece has been beautifully revitalized with a fresh coat of 18ct yellow gold vermeil, bestowing it with an incredibly opulent, warm glow that catches the light beautifully.
Measuring 17.5 inches, this late-Victorian collar offers a striking visual presence while remaining remarkably lightweight and comfortable for everyday wear. It is engineered to contour elegantly right along the collarbone, beautifully anchored by its iconic, oversized bolt-ring clasp that would have traditionally displayed a treasured pendant or locket. Having survived over a century in excellent condition, this heirloom piece is perfect for adding a touch of period elegance to your everyday style.
