A wonderful Antique pin from the late Victorian era fashioned in 18ct Yellow Gold and set with a lucky Horseshoe lined with pale orange Coral.
The Horseshoe has long been a symbol of good luck and used to be hung from houses to bring protection and good fortune. They became a popular image in jewellery in the 19th Century when there was an increase in superstition.
It’s a wonderful collector's item and complete with its original fitted box with a deep velvet blue Interior to store it in.
