Made in Chester in 1841, this grand antique early Victorian diamond cluster ring features a distinctive round coronet setting, encrusted with an array of hand-cut old mine diamonds totalling approx. 1.2 carats. The ring is crafted in solid 18ct yellow gold, which has acquired a beautifully smooth finish and warm patina over time.
During the 19th century, old-cut diamonds were considered the height of quality, their skilfully hand-cut facets designed to gently dance by candlelight.
