An exquisite antique Victorian equestrian brooch, crafted in Plymouth by the esteemed jeweller W. E. Bowdery during the late 19th Century. Beautifully fashioned in warm 15ct yellow gold, this exceptional piece depicts a traditional hunting horn, elegantly crossed with a riding crop and rope, with a lucky silver-topped horseshoe at its centre, adorned with sparkling old mine cut diamonds (approx. 0.25ct).
Equestrian-themed jewellery was highly fashionable among the Victorian aristocracy, reflecting a passion for horse riding, racing, and country pursuits.
