A remarkable antique Victorian ring depicting a coiled snake with red Ruby eyes and an array of sparkling old rose cut Diamonds across the head which total to approx. 0.60ct.
Serpent jewellery became popular in the Victorian era and symbolized a wonderful combination of love, loyalty and friendship.
The head of the snake is fashioned in Silver and flows into a wonderful 18ct Yellow Gold coil which has developed a lovely smoothness with age. It looks stunning wrapped around the finger and steeped in history.
