Product Details
A gorgeous antique Victorian five stone ring set with three deep green step cut emeralds with two twinkling old mine cut diamonds in between. The centre emerald weighs approx. 0.40ct, with 0.10ct outer stones and 0.06ct diamonds.
Emerald is the birthstone of May. The Romans considered it to be the sacred stone of the goddess Venus and was said to preserve love and provide hope. Its natural green colouring also makes it a stone of springtime and is associated with eternal love and faithfulness.
The gallery is modelled in 18ct gold with scrolled shoulders on each side and displays Birmingham hallmarks within the band. The date mark has faded over time, but we estimate it was made Circa 1900.
A fabulous antique ring with a pretty combination of gems that contrast and complement each other perfectly.
We recommend you insure for £2,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
