A beautiful pair of antique Etruscan revival earrings from the mid Victorian era featuring a high relief acorn in the centre of an ornate frame with golden ball edging.
Etruscan revival jewellery was crafted in the mid 1800s when ancient Etruscan pieces were unearthed in tombs outside of Rome beginning a fascination with the style. Acorns were a popular motif and were believed to symbolise fertility and new life.
The pair are fashioned in silver and have been given a shining 18ct gold finish. They’re in excellent condition and look wonderful dangling from each ear.
