Product Details
An exquisite antique Etruscan revival bracelet from the mid Victorian era consisting of a thick, articulated snake chain fashioned in 18ct gold with a charm hanging from the bottom bezel set with a large cabochon garnet framed in a beaded gold border.
The garnet weighs approx. 6 carats and has been foil backed to reflect the light entering the stone, creating a bright cherry-pink glow in direct light.
Garnet is the birthstone of January and has been desired throughout history for its strength and blazing crimson-red or cherry-pink flame that glows beneath its dark exterior. It’s long been considered a stone of the heart and symbolic of passion and enduring love.
It’s a wonderful antique treasure, in excellent condition and held by a box clasp and safety chain at the end.
We recommend you insure for £2,500. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
