Product Details
An exquisite pair of antique Victorian garnet drop earrings, made in the Etruscan revival style. They consist of a coiled knot at the bottom, topped with a textured leaf and two oval almandine garnets with a deep cherry-pink hue (approx. 0.45ct each).
Etruscan revival pieces were crafted in the late 1800s after ancient Etruscan jewellery was unearthed in tombs outside of Rome, beginning a fascination with the style and giving birth to these beautiful pieces which were crafted in the same grand and elaborate fashion.
The antique earrings are fashioned in a warm 15ct yellow gold, with ornate workmanship and textured patterning across the front. They’re both in excellent condition and look beautiful dangling from each ear.
We recommend you insure for £1,800. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
