Details
An exquisite antique Victorian fob pendant featuring a wonderful rotating gallery set with a dark green Bloodstone on one side and a deep orange Carnelian on the reverse.
Bloodstone is a form of Jasper with distinct speckled red spots which in the middle ages were said to be formed at the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ when the blood fell to the ground and turned to stone.
The piece is modelled in solid 9ct Rose Gold and fully hallmarked dating the piece to 1879. It is a wonderful design and can be flipped to boast either stone at the front. It would look lovely hanging from a Gold chain.
We recommend you insure for £1250, We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
