Product Details
A spectacular antique Arts and Crafts Celtic cross pendant from the late Victorian era crafted in silver and bejewelled with an assortment of large cabochon gemstones, including violet amethysts, sky-blue sardonyx, patterned agates, lustrous mother of pearls and deep blue lapis lazuli with glittering gold specks.
Lapis Lazuli translates simply to “Blue Stone” and has been highly prized since ancient times as a stone of power and great wisdom with its deep blue colouring and speckled gold flecks viewed as a reflection of the stars and the heavens, making it divine.
The cross is accompanied by a long silver wheat guard chain, measuring 62 inches and is decorated with further violet amethysts and silver flowers across the length, leading to a claw clasp at the bottom.
