A marvellous antique late Victorian ring exhibiting a large green chalcedony cabochon weighing approx. 7ct. It has an alluring emerald green glow complemented beautifully by a 9ct gold bezel mount with split shoulders leading into the band.
Chalcedony is a smooth, glossy gemstone that comes in a wide variety of colours. Its ghostly inner glow is often associated with the light of the moon and is believed to bring about calm and harmony between friends and loved ones.
It’s a grand statement piece and complete with Birmingham hallmarks and the maker’s mark within the band.
