The jade is a beautiful shade of apple green, with dark and pale veins running through. They’re held in 9ct gold filigree settings, with another carved jade stone claw set on top, with butterfly studs at the back.
A stone of legend and mysticism, Jade has been prized throughout history for its calming green colour and glossy surface. It was particularly revered in East Asia and named “The stone of Heaven” as it was believed to bring good fortune, and long life to those who possessed it.
