A fabulous Antique Victorian lizard shaped brooch modelled in Silver gilded in 18ct Gold. The brooch is decorated with stripes of old cut emerald green and white Pastes Stones down the back and red Paste eyes.
Victorian jewellery mirrored Queen Victoria’s life with the ‘Romantic’ period producing decorative animal pieces such as lizards, symbolising the monarch’s sentimental side.
A lovely piece of jewellery and history. It comes with a secure clasp and will look fabulous when worn.
