A fabulous Antique late Victorian star brooch decorated with a lovely array of shimmering cabochon cut Moonstones which graduate in size down each of the eight points. The largest is approx. 2ct in the centre.
Each Moonstone has a lovely ghostly hue and a luminous surface similar to that of Moonlight. They are said to be a magical stone providing a channel for prophecy, and a path to wisdom.
The piece is all Silver and in excellent condition. It would look wonderful on a lapel.
