Product Details
A remarkable antique late Victorian cluster ring claw set with a mesmerising natural opal cabochon displaying vibrant blues, greens, pinks and intense orange flashes. It weighs approx. 1.6ct and is haloed by a glittering halo of old mine cut diamonds, totalling approx. 0.70ct.
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the beauty of planet earth or the aurora borealis, with a burning orange sunset glowing behind.
The piece is modelled entirely in 18ct gold with scrolled engraving down the shoulders and a pierced under gallery. It’s a striking statement piece boasting a truly spellbinding opal at its heart.
