Product Details
A fabulous antique late Victorian cluster ring adorned with a trilogy of natural opal cabochons along the centre (approx. 0.70ct total) haloed by ten twinkling old mine cut diamonds (approx. 0.30ct total).
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of greens, pinks and blues that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the beauty of planet earth or the aurora borealis, with a burning orange sunset glowing behind.
The piece is crafted in 18ct gold with lovely, scrolled motifs on each shoulder. It would make the perfect gift for a loved one and is complete with the maker’s mark and Birmingham hallmarks within the band dating to 1886.
We recommend you insure for £2,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
