Product Details
A gorgeous antique Victorian opal carved half-hoop ring from the late 19th Century, displaying a row of five natural cabochon opals, with eight twinkling diamonds nestled in between. The opals display a hypnotic display of colour and graduate in size from 0.25 to 0.60ct in the centre (approx. 1.7ct total).
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the natural beauty of planet Earth or the aurora borealis.
The gallery is modelled in 18ct gold and features exquisite, scrolled engraving down the sides and shoulders. It’s a fabulous Victorian piece, in excellent condition with a mesmerising row of vivid opals that are truly magical.
