Details
This wonderful Victorian festoon necklace has been lovingly crafted in 18ct Yellow Gold and adorned with fifteen beautiful cabochon cut natural Opals. The largest opal is 4ct alone, in total the stones add up to over 20ct.
The fine links that connect the stones have been carefully arranged so that the necklace hangs beautifully around the neck, spacing out the opals to allow each one to shine. The slim galleries wrap around the Opals, allowing light to suffuse them and increasing their natural lustre.
This is a beautiful piece, and a fantastic example of Victorian craftsmanship.
Acid tested as 18ct gold.
