A wonderful antique Victorian guard chain from the late 19th century made up of large, open-worked links cut with a circular pattern and connected by long sections of chain.
The links are all sterling silver and have been given an 18ct yellow gold finish. It’s very distinct and can be worn as one long chain or looped twice around the neck.
