Details
Dating to the late 19th Century, this sublime antique Victorian peridot bracelet is crafted in sunny 18ct yellow gold, featuring a stunning trio of lush green cushion/ emerald cut peridots, weighing approx. 2.2 and 3 carats each. They’re nestled between intricate figure-eight infinity links, delicately set with shimmering rose-cut diamonds and finished with a robust, eternity link chain, held by a secure box clasp and safety chain.
Like most Victorian pieces, this bracelet is rich with romantic symbolism. The figure-eight links represent the "Lover’s Knot," a popular symbol for an eternal and unbreakable bond, suggesting this piece was once a token of deep affection. The peridots further emphasise this, with the trilogy representing a couples past, present and future, emitting a vibrant inner light that glows under candlelight, earning them the nickname “Evening Emerald”.
In excellent condition, this rare find would make the perfect antique gift for a loved one, with its vibrant green hues and warm gold tones evoking the beauty of a thriving meadow on a summer’s day, bringing feelings of joy, positivity, and serenity wherever you go.
