A pretty antique Victorian witches heart brooch beautifully preserved from the late 19th Century. The piece is modelled in silver and features a fabulous glass locket in the centre, framed by deep red pastes that resemble garnets.
Witches hearts were gifted as a sentimental token by lovers during the Victorian era and symbolised the bewitching nature of their love for one another.
The locket opens at the back with room to insert a small photograph or a lock of hair within. It’s very sweet and would make a wonderful gift for a loved one.
