A gorgeous antique ruby diamond daisy cluster ring from the late Victorian era set with a natural ruby in the centre, weighing approx. 0.60ct, haloed by ten twinkling old cushion cut diamond petals around the border, totalling approx. 0.60ct as well. Â Â
The ruby has been certified as natural and originates from Burma. It has a vivid, hot-pink colouring which is all natural with no signs of heat treatment. This is detailed in a gem certification that accompanies the piece. Â
Burmese rubies are some of the rarest and finest gems in the world. Prized for their beauty, durability and high-intensity red/ pink colouring that tends to be more vivid than other varieties. The stone is associated with the heart and is symbolic of passion and everlasting love. Â
The piece is modelled in 18ct gold and features ornate, split shoulders on either side with fine engraving. It’s in excellent condition and would make a perfect antique engagement ring, exhibiting a rare and beautiful natural ruby at its heart.Â
